1. Cover File

Required at initial submission. Author information, affiliations, and manuscript-related declarations should be provided in this file.

2. Anonymized Main Manuscript

Required at initial submission and during revision. To preserve the double-blind peer-review process, this file must not contain information that directly or indirectly reveals the identities of the authors.

3. Cover Letter

Optional. Authors may use this document to explain the original contribution of the study, its relevance to the journal's aims and scope, or other information they wish to communicate to the editor.

4. Response to Reviewers

Required when revision is requested. Responses to reviewer and editor comments should be provided point by point, and the location of changes in the manuscript should be clearly indicated.

Authors are encouraged to use the most recent versions of all journal templates.

2. Article Types

Research Article

Research articles are scholarly studies that make an original empirical and/or theoretical contribution to the field of child and youth psychology.

  • The manuscript should not exceed 10,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • It should include Turkish and English abstracts of 150–250 words.
  • It should include 4–6 keywords.

Where scientifically justified, the editorial office may consider exceptions to the word or reference limits.

Review Article

Review articles should provide a comprehensive, critical, and original synthesis of a scholarly problem relevant to child and youth psychology.

Systematic reviews, scoping reviews, meta-analyses, theoretical reviews, and conceptual reviews may be considered. Merely summarizing the existing literature is insufficient; review articles are expected to provide new perspectives, integration, evaluation, or scholarly conclusions.

  • The manuscript should not exceed 10,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • It should include Turkish and English abstracts of 150–250 words.

Depending on the nature of the research, the editorial office may also request:

  • Ethics committee approval documents,

  • Permissions for the use of scales or materials,
  • Data files,
  • Supplementary materials,
  • Other supporting documents.

For research requiring ethics committee approval, the relevant ethics committee information must be declared. The editorial office may request a copy of the approval document when necessary.
